Guests can bring their own beach chairs and umbrellas, or rent them from Barney’s Beach Service ahead of time. Barney’s will set them up first thing in the morning so that they are waiting for you when you stroll out to the beach.
Interested in surfing lessons? Located just across the street from La Fiesta is the WSMS Surf Shop, which offers surf lessons for all ages. And in the summer, they host WSMS Surf Camp, where they aim to teach the younger generation the roots and culture behind surfing, which they believe is driven from creativity and self expression.
Nights of Lights
Come visit St. Augustine for its world-famous Nights of Lights celebration. Each year, from late November through January, millions of tiny white lights illuminate the entire downtown area of the nation’s oldest city, creating a beautiful and festive holiday setting. It was recently recognized by National Geographic as one of the top 10 places in the world to see holiday lights. Come see them for yourself! The lights can be enjoyed many ways: by taking a leisurely stroll through the narrow brick streets, hopping on a horse and carriage tour with Santa Claus, or by riding Old Town Trolley’s special Nights of Lights trolley tour. All guest rooms and suites have an outside entrance, and are equipped with their own quiet mini-split AC system with a filter that is sanitized between each stay.
Our property offers limited accessible features at the present time, such as a some ground floor rooms, including a fully ADA accessible room, pool lift, and private beach walkway that does not have any stairs.
